The ShipWorks Software Development team is empowered with enhancing, modifying, and maintaining features and functionality associated with the ShipWorks software product.   The Manager, Software Development plays an important role at ShipWorks by leading our team of software engineers in providing real-time solutions for our customers when they need it the most. The role will develop and implement business plans, policies and procedures. Collaborate with various departments to prioritize software development needs including design, development, and documenting and testing new and existing software. Evaluate results within business unit to determine if organizational objectives are being met. You won't find yourself in endless meetings - but rather driving results and building our success story.  You will work closely with the leaders of our Sales, Account Management, Marketing, and Product teams to achieve your objectives and influence outcomes.   If you are a driver with an upbeat personality and want to be part of a vibrant St. Louis startup, we want to speak with you!   The Role: The Business Development Representative is responsible for nurturing existing partner relationships, providing value adding communications and training to existing partners and carriers to maximize quality referrals, vetting incoming referral leads, scheduling demonstrations with sales, and acting as a brand ambassador in order to drive business growth and the achievement of revenue targets.   The Person:   A self-starting, driven, problem solving, organizing, relationship building, communicator with an obsessive personality, a hunger for learning, and the persistent to keep going until a solution has been achieved.
